file this under 'sucker'.
the roommate has gone missing again! this after talking to me on sunday while i was in mexico, i come home sunday night to find a note from him saying he'd be back on wednesday. as well as saying how pathetic he was. after the last disappearance i put a lock on my closet door, in the rush to leave for mexico i forgot to lock it. in the note he says this meant a lot to him (thinks i left it open) but in the end he was weak, stole $20 dollars and the rest of my pot. this i could actually forgive.
he also said that we would be hosting bridge on wednesday. which he didn't show up for. this i cannot pardon. you make a commitiment like that you can get to a phone or even an email to tell me your not going to make it.
prior to me leaving i was assured rent would be forthcoming. 1/3 of it did come to me. at this point though his balance owing to me is over $3000 at a rough estimate. i had even expressed concerns about leaving, after every vacation something seems to happen when i return. two years ago i was fired from my job because my boss had an affair on her homophobic husband, one of his conditions for not leaving her was i had to go! last year i came home and left my partner of too many years. perhaps these aren't necessarily bad things that happened but at the time they seemed to be.
i'm not sure what to make of this one. however, i'm taking over the bedroom. today i move all his stuff into a closet. he wants the bedroom back he can pay off what he owes.
the living room (basically my old room) is now open to become a sex club.
